Whole House Remodel
This Northwest Contemporary home was built in Damascus, Oregon in 1974 and was rented out for many years while its owners traveled the globe with their careers. With a desire to fit this home for Aging in Place, the owners secured our Design Build Services to do a whole house remodel to include an addition for a larger kitchen, personal training center, a bathroom addition, and an addition of a workshop to the attached garage. The unique post and beam structure supports a modern style flat roof system that is typically used in Commercial Construction. The roof was completely torn off and a special membrane system was professionally installed baked by a 50 year warranty. A window replacement company had installed windows improperly just three years prior to this large project and some dry rot repairs were necessary. All of the new windows had to be replaced again. A beautiful view of Mt. Hood can be seen from the new Mahagony Deck that is surrounded by an Aluminum and Stainless Steel cable rail system. As you can see, ample natural light permeates this home through the solid wall of windows on the east facing side of this luxurious home. The interior is finished with high end detail throughout.
