Ofuro Room
Construction on a hillside requires attention to detail. Building an Ofuro room demands even more! Matching roof lines and aligning to the plumbing system were just a few of the challenges. The Asian style tub room required an elevated foundation to create the feel of being at ground level, providing as much window space as possible for natural light and capturing the outdoors. This soaking tub not only provides relaxation, it absorbs the tranquil setting of the Asian garden, complete with Bamboo fencing and a water feature. The deck surface is finished in slate and large enough to sip tea in the morning or share a bottle of wine in the evening.
