West Linn custom ranch style home
This West Linn custom ranch style home near the Willamette River had an existing kitchen area that was isolated from the common areas of the home. This complete kitchen remodeling project included the removal of a dividing wall, creating a new great room concept that made time spent in the kitchen a family time for this young family. Creative use of a new island with eating bar provided the children a place to see and talk with their mother and be safe and out from under her feet while preparing family meals. The Mission Style cabinets with rich mahogany stain have roll out drawers providing ample storage and were made locally. Granite Tile was used to provide the elegance of a true stone finish as a cost saving measure. Other finishing touches include Kitchen Aid stainless steel appliances, glass cabinet doors and a message center.
