Family Room Addition

This Beaumont Village home in Northeast Portland needed more space for family and friends that visit almost every day. Running a day care in the home for years, this family room addition provided some relief for this hard working mom! With a large back yard it was important to provide a clear view of children playing and capture more natural light. Large wood windows were installed to match existing. Shorter windows were used to provide privacy on one side of the home. A large deck was built for entertaining guests, outdoor cooking and eating. An integrated speaker system was installed to provide ambiance inside and on the deck. Wood flooring installation provided a nice finishing touch.
